I thought you were quite patient with his obvious lack of aptitude for a very basic GUI. Seems a strange choice of person for a tech channel 🤷♂️
I am trying to make the visual comparison check between the 'old' (young) and 'present' (older...) Alistair. A clone or damn autocorrect?
Speaking of clowns, we took grandchildren to the pantomime yesterday: I have not suffered airwaves so corrupted since the last time I tried to edit a video clip. I should have paid more attention to 'Computer Weekly'.
I too have developed a tradition, it seems, of falling ill whenever I have leave booked. Currently spending Christmas with a nasty sore throat and feeling pretty unwell all around - but at least it's not COVID this time, which is what I came down with a couple of days before the last time I went on leave.
I want to take some time off in January or February - I have plenty due. But I think I need to factor in a couple of weeks extra for recovery time from whatever I come down with at the time.
If you thought you looked bad in the '90s, just be glad it wasn't the '80s when you made your television debut.

A couple of years earlier the best Mac product of the year (as determined by some Apple award) was actually an Amiga!
The all in one box version of the Video Toaster with a special SCSI interface so it could be plugged into a Mac...
